On the Commons (formerly Tomales Bay Institute) is a network of citizens and organizations exploring new ways to achieve social justice, environmental harmony and democratic participation at all levels of society.

The work of On the Commons takes many forms—from introducing innovative public policies and economic initiatives to supporting grassroots local action. They focus on a wide range of issues, which reach deep into the realms of ecology, economics, technology, politics, education, the arts and day-to-day life in diverse communities.

 

Global Commons Trust

The weblog of a growing group of individuals (including James Quilligan), organizations and other non-proprietary stakeholders who believe that shared resources should be held in trust for the commonwealth of the planet. They believe that a Global Commons Trust is needed so that the world’s commons are recognized and protected through a binding international trust for the benefit of humanity and all beings.

 

P2P Foundation weblog

An active and many-sided weblog that approaches the commons through the Peer-to-Peer 'lens'. Michel Bauwens is the chief architect behind this very useful and informative weblog.
